Feet on the Pedals for Goodness in AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya
On 30 April 2023, cyclists from 13 countries will turn the pedals for goodness. AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum road bike race will be started from Kemer to Antalya. Income that will arise from the race will be given as gift bikes to children victims of the Kahramanmaras earthquake.
5th of AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum Road Bike Races is Starting!
The famous amateur road bike race AKRA Gran Fondo will be held for 5th time this year. The race will start from Olbia Park in the Kemer district. The race will start on 30 April Sunday.
570 cyclists from 13 countries will participate in the race. With this event, more people will learn about the beautiful geography of the area. Also, the race is starting to be more famous in the amateur cyclists' arena.
The cyclists will enjoy the beautiful and picturesque views of the Mediterranean. At the same time, they will race with each other for the first spot. But at all, the event’s main aim is combining sporting events, a cultural experience with social responsibility.
Cyclists will Turn the Pedal for Goodness in AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya
The event also has more social responsibility this year. 700 bicycles will be bought with the income that will arise from sponsors and registration fees. These bicycles will be gifted to children victims of the Kahramanmaras earthquake.
The bicycles will be handed out to children with the cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey.
While the main sponsor is the AKRA Group and powered by AG Tohum, there will be many more partners at the event. These partners will be contributing to the life of the earthquake victim children this year. Antalya Governorship is also contributing to the race.
