FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about Turkish Citizenship
Q: How does the Turkish citizenship by real estate investment program work?A: Firstly, you purchase a property with a value of at least 400,000 USD. Then you request Turkish nationality by applying to the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre (Tapu Office).
After the application, the appraisal report and bank transfer documents are checked. The Land Registry Office gives approval for citizenship between 3 and 7 days. After the citizenship approval, we apply to the Immigration Office on the same day without waiting for an appointment for a temporary residence permit.
Finally, we apply to the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship with approval and residence permit on the same day. After the title deed application, the whole process is followed in the Citizenship Information Office in Istanbul and Ankara. The acquisition of citizenship is completed within 2 to 6 months.
