Best Real Estate Agencies in Antalya: How to Choose a Trusted Agency

Antalya is the centre of the Turkish Riviera. After Istanbul the city where foreigners buy the most homes. Russian, German and British buyers lead the demand. Lara and Konyaaltı are its luxury districts, and the choice ranges from seafront villas to modern apartments at every budget. No other city in Turkey earns more from tourism.

In a market with this much choice, the agency is the part of the purchase you should choose most carefully. Below you will find what to look for in an Antalya agency, and then a short list of agencies with offices in the city.

How to Choose a Real Estate Agency in Antalya

(Türkiye, October 2026. Because costs and rules change, the latest antalyahomes.com pages and current Turkish legislation are what count.)

1. Proof of Licence and an Office in Your Area

Property in Turkey may only be sold by agencies holding the Ministry of Trade's Real Estate Trade Authorisation Certificate (Taşınmaz Ticareti Yetki Belgesi); ask to see the number. It also helps when the agency has an office in the part of Antalya you are considering, whether that is Lara, Konyaaltı or elsewhere, so the people advising you know the streets they are selling.

2. Due Diligence Done Up Front

How to Choose the Best Real Estate Agency in Antalya? At the end of every Turkish purchase, the title deed (tapu) is transferred at the Land Registry Office in front of a registry officer. The work that protects you happens earlier. Ask the agency to confirm the seller's ownership, check for any mortgage or lien, and make sure the property is not in a military or security zone with restrictions for foreigners, all before you pay a deposit.

3. Every Fee on Paper

Allow about 6% to 9% for costs beyond the price. Most of it goes on the title deed fee, which is charged at 4% of the declared value. Turkish law assigns 2% to each side, though buyers commonly pay the full amount, so the contract should spell out who pays what. Earthquake insurance (DASK) is compulsory at the transfer. Our page on purchase expenses in Turkey lists the items.

4. A Process with Dates

A purchase with complete documents usually takes 2 to 6 weeks. Resale homes typically ask for a deposit of 5% to 10%, and the tapu is often in your name within 7 to 15 days. Off-plan homes usually need 30% to 50% at the start, with the remaining instalments linked to construction. Each step, including the tax number and the bank account, is explained in our guide to buying property in Turkey.

5. Your Language, Even from Abroad

Whether you speak Russian, German or English, ask in which language the agency will explain the contract and the transfer. If you are not in Turkey, you can still buy: homes can be viewed on a video call and the purchase signed through a power of attorney, best given at a Turkish consulate. A power of attorney from a notary abroad needs an apostille and a sworn translation in Turkey, and remote buying is not possible on a passport that has never been used to enter Turkey. Our TeleProperty page shows how a remote purchase runs.

6. Care After the Purchase

Ask what the agency does once you own the home: connecting utilities, managing and letting the property, and selling it for you when the time comes.
