I was born and raised in Turkey, where I developed an early interest in language, culture, and technology. I initially pursued Computer Engineering, completing two years of study and one year of English preparation before shifting my focus to English Language and Literature at Akdeniz University. This transition allowed me to delve deeper into critical analysis, linguistics, and communication, culminating in my graduation with a Bachelor’s degree. My career journey began as a freelance translator and editor, where I refined my ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, developing a meticulous eye for detail. I expanded my knowledge by taking online courses for editing, copywriting and proofreading. Following this, I worked at Nirvana Hotels as Night CRM Staff in the 4U Department, managing guest requests and system entries with efficiency and clear communication. This role emphasized responsiveness and organization, valuable skills I bring to editorial work. I later joined Veeva as a Web Researcher, where I gained experience in data collection and quality control, focusing on accuracy and audience engagement. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, reading fantasy novels, and playing chess.
