We Are Now a Member of the Service Exporters' Association!
We are happy to announce that we are now a member of the Service Exporters’ Association as Tekce Overseas Gayrimenkul AŞ and Proje Satış AŞ. We will pursue our businesses in order to support the service exports in the international real estate market.
The real estate sector became a part of service exports in the context of the "Decision on the Definition, Classification, and Support of Service Exports" published in the Official Gazette on April 20, 2022. We have become one of the first members of the Service Exporters' Association (HIB) as a leading company in the real estate sector of Turkey.
About the Service Exporters' Association (HIB)
Service Exporters' Association (HIB) was established under the Ministry of Commerce and Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM). HIB is an organization that aims to develop, support, and diversify services exports between international business and trade markets.
The association plays an active role in committee activities, sectoral activity reports, and collaborations to increase interaction between public institutions and non-governmental organizations in sectors within the scope of service exports, which constitute approximately 60% of the country’s GDP.
Service exports have reached a record level in the history of the Republic of Turkey in 2019 with 62.8 billion dollars. In 2020, the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic were felt severely in exports as well as in the whole economical order. Thanks to the support and incentives provided by the government to reduce the effects of the epidemic, service export revenues are increased by approximately 60%. The revenues have reached to 56.7 billion dollars in 2021.
Service Exporters’ Association provides incentives to the member companies to accelerate the dynamism in the service exports. These incentives include support packages for activities such as promotion, advertising, marketing, organization, and participation in international markets.
Real Estate Services Are Now Considered as a Part of Service Exports
The "Decision on Defining, Classifying and Supporting Service Exports" was published in the Official Gazette on April 20, 2022. The new decree defines new incentive elements in service exports and increases the number of business sectors that would benefit from government support. Real estate services were also included in the scope of service exports by the President's decision. The real estate companies in Turkey get the opportunity to benefit from government incentives.
The real estate sector has a major impact on our country in terms of service exports and this new regulation creates a great opportunity for the market. As Turkey's leading companies serving in the property market, Tekce Overseas Gayrimenkul AŞ and Proje Satış AŞ have become one of the first representatives of the real estate sector in the Service Exporters' Association, which plays an important role in the development of exports.
Mr. Bayram Tekce, the chairman of the executive board of Tekce Overseas, has evaluated the HIB membership of our company which provides agency services to foreign investors in the real estate market:
"Our company is one of the leading companies in the real estate market since 2004 and we offer real estate services with 11 offices throughout Turkey. Thanks to our professional team and sturdy corporate structure, we provide a regular flow of foreign currency to our country through real estate exports. Now, as a HIB member, we will continue to strengthen our business with their significant support under a corporate roof."
Our subsidiary company, Proje Satış AŞ, works on promoting and marketing the projects in their portfolios. Proje Satış AŞ is a professional organization that serves in cooperation with all real estate agencies.
As a member company, we aim to contribute to the promotion of our country in all aspects of the international business and trade markets in the most righteous way; to support the development of service exports in international business fields, and to increase the global visibility of service quality in the construction and real estate sectors in Turkey.
